In the heart of Burgess Hill, Park Centre is a welcoming community hub where local people connect, receive support, learn and thrive.

We support local people across Burgess Hill, Mid Sussex and the surrounding West Sussex communities through youth services, community projects, wellbeing activities, inclusive events and affordable room hire.

Park Centre provides safe, welcoming facilities for recreation, learning, support and community activities for people of all ages. We work to improve mental wellbeing, reduce loneliness and strengthen community connections, particularly for children, young people, older adults and individuals experiencing disability, financial hardship or social isolation.

Our charity supports people in Burgess Hill and the surrounding area by providing activities, events and projects that help develop confidence, skills, capabilities and opportunities for local residents. We believe everyone should have access to affordable, inclusive community spaces and support that improves quality of life and promotes social welfare.

As a local charity serving Mid Sussex, we work with residents, schools, charities, support organisations and community groups to create opportunities for people to connect, learn and thrive. Temple Room 

Our Temple Room is a ground floor community space at Park Centre and is home to the South Downs Amateur Boxing Club CIC, providing boxing and fitness opportunities for children, young people and adults in Burgess Hill. The space supports inclusive community activities that promote physical health, confidence, discipline and positive wellbeing in a safe and welcoming environment.

General Hall

The General Hall at Park Centre Burgess Hill Charity is a large flexible space used for theatre productions, community events, exercise classes, dance sessions and group activities across Burgess Hill and Mid Sussex. It provides a versatile venue for inclusive community use, supporting wellbeing, creativity and social connection.

Park Centre has been part of the Burgess Hill community since 1872 and continues to be a place where people come together for support, connection and opportunity. More than just a building, Park Centre is a welcoming space where friendships are formed, confidence grows and people of all ages feel part of their local community.

Every week, local residents take part in activities, learn new skills, improve wellbeing and support one another in an inclusive and supportive environment at the heart of Burgess Hill.
